SABAH - KOTA KINABLAU (3rd Day)

MOUNT KINABALU

a mountain where u will stop breathing when you see it! 

It is too beautiful!

Too bad that the clouds were blocking the peak.

We hardly see it clearly..

There are many angles of Kinabalu Mountain..

Different angles give you different WOW! 

 1st Destination :

Sabah TEA HOUSE

A place where we can learn and see the process of making tea.

How to defrentiate between artificial coloured tea leaves and non-artificial coloured tea leaves?


1st : 
prepare a peice of white tissue paper..


2nd : 
Place your tea leaves on the tissue paper..


3rd : 
pour a little amount of COLD water on the tea leaves..


4th :
Observe the colour stain on the tissue paper.
Artificial Coloured tea leaves will stain the tissue paper heavily..

Waiting for the cloud to move,

so that we can snap a nice photograph with the Kinabalu Mount..

Too Bad..

The clouds dont like us..=p

PORING HOT SPRING

You can do alot of activities here..

Water pools, Hot springs, jungle trekking, canopy walk..

Anyway, im only intrested with the canopy walk coz..

the pool...

Is kinda dirty for me.. 

opps..

This is the bathing pool..

I dont even dare to use it.. = = 

Admire those who are using it for bathing purpose..

Got cheated!

We thought the canopy walk is right after the entrance..

The truth is..

We have to walk for a long distance before you can enjoy the canopy fun..

OH GOSH...

ALL WE HAD for our LUNCH 

is just DURIAN...

so TIRING!!!!!

3rd Destination : 

Rafflesia  

Its our luck to see Rafflesia!

HI! new plant! =D

If you are lucky enough,

You may see a board or banner telling you that the people there found Rafflesia!!

Anyway! 

You have to pay for it!

around RM 15 per person.

According to the dusun little girl..

Rafflesia can only live for 7-8 days before it starts to blacken..

It needs 15 months before it can bloom into such nice petals!

When the flower starts to blacken..

It will give out some odour.

To attract insects for pollination! =D

This is how the dusun people take good care of Refflesia.

To prevent people from stealing it and touching them. =D

 They have a short durian tree infront of their house!

Mount Kinabalu is really...

4th Destination :

Kinabalu Park

I thought if we can see some wild animals inside..

but nope!

basically 

it is just a place for you to see trees..= =

o!

and this is a place where the mountain climbing journey starts! =D

The weather there is really cold..

18 degree celcius!! 

+ the strong wind..

You will need some thicker sweaters!
